Pantha du Prince is back with a fantastic new EP called "Behind the Stars" (Dial Records, release end of february) and a Bloc Party Remix (on Wichita Recordings).
Last year the highlights were his extraordinary remixes for Animal Collective (Domino) and the Long Blondes (Rough Trade). After touring successfully in Europe and South America he's now back in the studio.

His playfull shows are a paralyzing trip into sience of sound, a melange of harmonic elements caught in weird processes swaying you into hypnotic spheres. It's epic techno arranged as a beautiful journey with crystal clear moments on top of pumping deep basslines.
Pantha du Prince paints with beats and sounds and creates shimmering moments of joy, that sets the imagination free and moves feet of their own volition.

In 2009 Pantha du Prince keeps representing his sonic narration at clubs and festivals all around the world. He just added new tracks to his live set, that are part of his 3rd album (coming in the fall) and also prepared visuals, which will complete is magical performances.
