LARJ takes Lifesaver 2 on the road

Most of the label's core roster will be representing at a series of European showcases in the coming months.

Sixteen dates in support of Live At Robert Johnson's forthcoming Lifesaver 2 compilation have been announced.

The tour will see a rotating cast of the Frankfurt label's core artists touch down for slots in the UK, France, Paris, Netherlands, Spain and more. Naturally, things get underway on home turf, with Ata, Orson Wells and Massimiliano Pagliara playing at Robert Johnson on March 7th. The same night, Roman Flügel, Gerd Janson and Oliver Hafenbauer play at Bristol's Just Jack. The following weekends include dates with Portable in Stockholm (21st), Lyon with Tuff City Kids (27th) and Jena with Ata (28th).

Four dates are lined up for April. Paris's Djoon club hosts Ata and Lauer on the 17th, after which Hafenbauer and Benedikt Frey head to Golem in Hamburg on the 24th. Dates at Barcelona venue Nitsa on the 25th and Passage 46 in Freiburg, Germany, on the 30th round out the month: Ata, Lauer and Frey play the former, while The Citizen's Band, Hafenbauer and Holger Wuest soundtrack the latter.

May is the tour's biggest month, with seven dates are confirmed so far. Highlights include stops at Zukunft in Zürich with Ata, Lauer and Hafenbauer on the 9th, Berlin's Panorama Bar on the 15th with Ata and Flügel, and fabric on the 16th with Flügel and Portable. Other stops include Cologne (8th), Oslo (22nd), Amsterdam (23rd) and Munich (29th).
